How do you make the most of two-dimensions in art?

Join us and find out in this afternoon exploring color, shape, and texture in two-dimensional design. Led by artist Cory Imig (whose work was featured in State of the Art 2020), guests will be guided through a step-by-step process to create their own geometric mixed media work.

Cory Imig is an artist and arts administrator based in Kansas City, Missouri. Imig has exhibited in numerous exhibitions across the United States, in spaces such as Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, Savannah College of Art and Design Museum of Art, and Southwest School of Art in San Antonio. She is a 2020 recipient of the Charlotte Street Foundation Visual Artist Award and has attended residencies at Art Omi International Art Center, ACRE, and Vermont Studio Center.

Registered guests can pick up their supply boxes beginning Aug 1, or boxes can be delivered if ordered no later than August 20.
