Canceled - Saturday Teacher Retreat: What I Know
This program has been canceled.
When did you last take some real time for yourself, did something just for you, and reclaimed that confidence that only comes from honest self-care and growth?
We’d like to invite you to do just that—and get professional development credit for it too!
In this creative workshop built just for educators, take a break from the demands of a new school year and let us help you recharge with artmaking and reflection. We’ll take a close look at artworks from our exhibition What I Know and then draw inspiration from those works as you create your own bit of self-expression in the studios. The exhibition houses works by artists from all walks of life, proclaiming, “This is what I know.” Through discussion and guided journaling, we’ll take up that same purpose. We’ll examine how personal experience shapes our knowledge and its limits and help you find your own statement of “what I know” through art.
Recharged and armed with confidence from hands-on self-care, you’ll be ready to take on the school year—whatever it may bring.
So do something nice for yourself. Sign up today.
