Afterschool Art: Painting (ages 5 - 7)

Looking for a fun, affordable, and educational afterschool activity? Why not try the art studio?

Designed for ages five through seven, this program is a great way to add more art to your kids’ routines and get them involved in something inspirational. We’ll spend time in the galleries learning about art, then head into the studio to flex those creative muscles and create something inspired by the collection. (Don’t worry—we’ll take care of the clean-up!)

This month, we’re continuing our focus on art FUNdamentals with core painting skills! Throughout the month, we’ll cover the basics of paint mixing, watercolors, and acrylics. With the confidence and excitement that comes from creative fun, your little artists are sure to find plenty to love here at the museum. And with five miles of trails, expansive galleries, restaurant Eleven, and the nearby coffee bar, you just might too.
