Join us as we explore the hidden worlds of nature’s smaller inhabitants through art!

A part of Nature Weekends at Crystal Bridges, in this lens-based, drawing workshop you’ll explore the hidden worlds of lichens, moss, rocks and other small natural inhabitants from the Crystal Bridges grounds and transform your observations into unique drawings. You’ll spend time closely observing the many life forms around us and drawing from life with the aid of lens-based instruments, from camera obscuras to microscopes and telescopes.

Led by artist and researcher Sarah Hearn, you’ll get expert insights and step-by-step guidance to help you turn your vision of natural beauty into a reality, including an overview of basic drawing techniques. Beginner-friendly, this workshop is open to creatives and nature-lovers of all experience levels and includes all supplies.

Tickets are $15 ($12 for members, $5 for museum staff), reserve your spot online or with Guest Services at (479) 657-2335 today.

Registration includes the cost of all supplies for this event.
